Our fees include full personal and nursing care and vary according to the specific accommodation chosen.
Fees for care and accommodation on a long-term basis in one of our standard rooms are £1300 per week net of any Funded Nursing Care contribution. The FNC is independently assessed and is an amount which may be paid by the NHS as a contribution towards the cost of nursing care, depending upon individual circumstances. If the contribution is authorised it will be received by Godswell Park and retained in addition to the net fee per room.
Larger rooms and suites may also be available and these vary in price according to the size and facilities provided, starting at £1350 per person per week. Some of our larger rooms may be suitable for double occupancy by couples (subject to the approval of our regulator), in which case 150% of the single rate is charged.
Fees are reviewed annually on 1st January or, exceptionally, if circumstances should change whereby an interim review is necessary.
For residents requiring long-term or permanent care, we require payment prior to arrival of a reservation and long-term maintenance fee equivalent to one month’s fees. This fee is used to reserve the particular bedroom requested, refurbish and redecorate the resident’s room after departure, and to cover the capital replacement costs and ongoing maintenance and improvement of public areas and gardens.
50% of this fee will be refunded in the event of a cancellation of the reservation prior to arrival. Once the resident has arrived at the Home 67% of this fee will be refunded if the resident should leave the Home on or before the first anniversary of his or her arrival, and 33% will be refunded if the resident should leave the Home after the first anniversary but on or before the second anniversary of his or her arrival. If the resident should leave the Home on or after the second anniversary of his or her arrival this fee will be retained in full.
Respite/Short Term Care
Our fee for residents requiring short-term or respite care in a standard room is £1400 per week and we require a deposit of £250 in advance to secure the room, which will be held against the final account with the balance being refunded after deduction of any miscellaneous expenditure.
This amount is non-refundable in the event of the resident cancelling their reservation prior to arrival.
Our fees are charged on a per-day basis rather than per-night, with any part of a day in which a room is occupied charged as a full day. Our rooms are available for residents to occupy at any time on the day of arrival and for the full day on departure.
Payments by cash, cheque, standing order, BACS transfer or debit or credit cards (with the Visa or Mastercard symbol) are welcome.
